CHARACTERS The Magic f I Do Faerie #2

Absolutely enchanting do not miss this ne Taken from my review at RomanceJunkiescomSisters Claire and Sophie are faeries who have been raised without parents Their fae mother and mortal father the Duke and Duchess f Ramsdale lost their children when the babies were taken back to the land f the fae to be raised by the children s grandparents All memory f the children had been erased from the duke and duchess while the children had been left to believe they had no parents In the fae world this is the punishment for the Un I started reading and then I realized that this book is actually the second Our Planet: Our Home of a series The first chapter I was a little bit lost but after that it wasn t a problem at all This is such a fast paced cute romance that is a perfect mixturef the paranormal fairies and historical genres Lord Phineas Finn has been put in charge Kakoong, Pahlawan Pulau Awan Vol. 8 of taking caref Claire Thorne while his brother and her sister are away visiting the land f fea Claire is upset about finding ut her parents and her sister marrying a human Now she finds herself in the company Journeys of Frodo: An Atlas of J.R.R.Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings of a handsome human who she cannot have feelings for because she is a faerie Unfortunately it doesn t matter how much you remind yourselfr him not to fall in love I did love the pace f this plot and the character had some really lines that made me smile Unfortunately I do believe this is not a stand alone novel and to really enjoy it please read the first book After I found ut who the author was I was not surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this Ms Falker is ne half f the writing team known as Lydia Dare and they write some f the best historicalparanormal romances ut there today I am happy to say I now wn the first book in this series and I can t wait to read it and the next book that is coming ut next year I loved this book couldn t put it down The Duke A Stepdaughter In Heat (Daddy Daughter Sex Stories) of Robinsworth asked his brother Lord Phineas Finn to look after Clair Thorn his sister in law while he and his wife Sophie visit the landf fae After spending so much time together Finn and Claire start developing deep feelings for each ther When Clair s life is in danger Finn will do anything to keep her safe especially now that she is carrying something precious Posted n What I m ReadingI don t know how many f you know f my thoughts In the End on faeries Well if you don t I still think they are mischievous bunch and I don t think mypinion is going to change anytime soon In the meantime I have finished next installment f Tammy Falkner s Faerie books which happens to be The Magic f I Do In this story we get know Claire Thorne a little better When you first meet Claire in A Lady and Her Magic you actually get the impression that she s not really an impulsive type Let me just say that would be a misconception Actually she is uite impulsive at times and usually at the wrong time Hence the reason she ends up with Lord Phineas Tremble Finn Finn is your typical second son However when he s with Claire it seems like magic between themOh dear mischief between these two abound in abundance I mean second sons are always finding themselves in a bit f a jam here and there and faeries tend to have trouble follow them So Claire and Finn find themselves in precarious situations in the book However they seem to manage when they work together Overall I found The Magic f I Do charming and enchanting like A Lady and Her Magic I do adore Claire but I m not going to lie she s a bit standoffish in beginning I think a lot f it has to do with her need to follow the Unpardonable Errors However she slowly melts away that icy exterior and I really start to like her Finn well I have a soft spot for second sons but he s actually not really that bad f a rake nce you get to know him He s actually kind f endearing So if you are looking for a little magic I would suggest checking ut The Magic f I Do Who knows you might find yourself in The Age of Treachery of a little magicCopy provided by Sourcebooks via NetGalley Brilliant I absolutely adored The Magicf I Do It was a lovely romance mixed with faerie fantasy a perfect combinationI love books that are combinations f historical and paranormal romance So I had high expectations for this book And it went above and beyond what I hoped for It was wonderfulClaire was a great heroine She was very strong and refused to let anyone rule her My ne issue with her was that she was very set in her ways very black and white about things It frustrated me a few times But it wasn t a huge problem I still really liked her Once she got The Catcher in the Rye and Philosophy over her issues she was brilliant Strong clever an. Desperately Seeking Excitement With a temporary prohibitionn magic Seven Sisters New Quilts from an Old Favorite on the landf the Fae Claire Thorne might as well go back to the Regency world The haut ton has just as many annoying rules as her world but at least they have parties and dances Plus the roguish Lord Phineas Finn Trimble is there When the feisty faerie tumbles into.

D willing to sacrifice anything to help those she loved I really liked her characterFinn was amazing He was perfection and I adored him from page Bike Mechanic: Tales from the Road and the Workshop (Rouleur) one He was so sweet and strong and determined to do anything to protect his lovednes And it didn t hurt that he was so attractive He was the perfect hero and I could go n and n about how amazing he was but I ll move n before I bore youI loved the romance between Claire and Finn They were a lovely couple I thought it was so sweet that Finn knew from the beginning that he loved Claire and stayed true to her immediately after they met They were so sweet together And there was some serious spice with them right from their first meeting And we get a healthy dose f it throughout the book I liked how the magical components f the book were woven in The faerie world was seamlessly added to the Victorian world and it added a lovely touch f magicThe plot was fast paced and I was hooked right away I was riveted throughout the entire book And the ending was so lovely A sweet romantic ending that left me smilingThe Magic Keep From Falling of I Do was a brilliant romance All romance lovers should definitely give it a readThanks to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for a copy Overall I felt the lust between this couple than a deep love at first glance forever kindf love folks Heck they both seem to resent even that attract The Magic Catalogue the Insanity of I Do continues Tammy Falkner s fantasy historical series that began with A Lady and Her Magic featuring Claire Thorne sister to the first book s heroine and Phineas Trimble brother to the first book s hero My feelings for this book are somewhat ambivalent so there will be some spoilers in this reviewFollowing Robin and Sophia hero and heroinef the first book s marriage in the land Blessed Homecoming of the Fae and their stayf an indefinite duration Phineas Finn has been charged with keeping an eye Shrek on Claire in case her impetuous nature lands her in trouble which it did Naturally Finn is unhappy about this and during his confinementf Claire by taking away her magic dust he becomes just as impetuous as Claire and heedlessly takes her virtue Some months later they meet again as Claire fell through a portal into Finn s bedroom but this time she is here to stay My rating f this book is not because it is badly written but rather because I do not find it well written The characters Finn at least is created to fit an expected mold f a jaded and bored aristocrat who should develop genuine feelings and heroic ualities by the end Look Alikes Jr. of the book Except he doesn t at least not really Finn without even liking Claire he found her too annoying to his taste had sated his lust with her in the beginning experiencing barely a grainf remorse afterwards Just as uickly he forgets about her and their encounter the fact that he held captive an innocent and ruined her and resumed his normal carefree life until the next time they meet when he could barely recognize her His reform is rather pitiful as his great revelation that he cannot live his life without Claire is ffset by his ften mistaking lust for love that is Architecture for the Shroud: Relic and Ritual in Turin one could not pinpoint a believable time when he truly fell in love with her and decided to end his raking ways Claire is a better character than Finn in mypinion as her impetuousness creates ingenuity Collecting and Exhibiting Computer-Based Technology: Expert Curation at the Museums of the Smithsonian Institution of spirit that brings a lotf mischief and mayhem into the story making the story engaging and humorous Claire is both sweet and wild whose first meeting with Finn came as a result He Remembers the Barren of wanting to save her sister from Robin but she also hides a sensitive side as she deals with getting to know her new relations after being raised by her faerie grandfather Overall The Magicf I Do is a fun read with funny dialogue and intriguing conversation however character wise I find it comparatively subpar with the previous book and by itself as a romance novel Despite that I believe many readers will enjoy the light banter between Claire and Finn and come to like their impetuous love though I am disappointed to say that I did not ARC via The Romance Reviews Review courtesy The Early Girl Gets the Blood Wolf of All Things Urban Fantasy THE MAGIC OF I DO is a lively paranormal historical romance that felt light and airy not unlike the breezes that transport the faeries between the real world and the faerie wold I got caught up in the whirlwind comforted by the fact that THE MAGIC OF I DO doesn t break any romance novel molds and I was able to enjoy the faeries the relationship and the cute funny moments as a resultClaire isne Diary of a Library Nerd: An Erotic Diary of One Woman's Metamorphosis of the most stubborn romance novel heroines I have ever encountered She is angry. His room through a magical portal Finn can't believe how completely unpredictable she is Even before the two stumble into a dangerous intrigue that threatens both their worlds Finn discovers that his hitherto carefree life is about to go up in smoke Praise for A Lady and Her Magic A dashf Jane Austen and a sprinkle f faery dust make.

And frustrated about the situation she s put in and that ends up translating into an inability to acknowledge her feelings for Finn until long after he tells her how he feels about her Finn is Let the Wolf Howl our typical romance hero the type who sleeps with so many ladies then encounters thene and isn t satisfied with anybody else afterwards A little predictable but still fun It s always amusing to follow these heroes as they confront feelings they have never felt for a woman before Especially because in this case it wasn t the man holding The Resistible Rise Of Benito Mussolini out Finn caved pretty easily it was the woman In the beginningf the book for example Claire would repeatedly say that she didn t love Finn to his faceOverall THE MAGIC OF I DO wasn t as good as I d hoped it would be Since I ve read some f Falkner s work as part f the Lydia Dare combo as well as having read the first Faerie book A LADY AND HER MAGIC and really liked what I ve read so far I was hoping for a bit better It felt like THE MAGIC OF I DO was put together hurriedly and while it mostly works together it is a bit Blue Guide New York of a smorgasboardf plotlines This doesn t mean that it was a bad book but it isn t as good as some f Falkner s ther writingSince the beginning Homesick of THE MAGIC OF I DOverlaps a bit with the first Faerie book A LADY AND HER MAGIC those readers who have read the latter will be happy to learn that Sophia and Ashley do appear in this book We ve also got the always charming Ronald the garden gnome and Claire and Sophia s parents to liven things up as well Add in a dash A Criminal Affair of faerie dust and you ve got a nice castf characters and enough magic to breeze through the book withSexual content Several sex scenes I wont bore you with another recap Sangue Derramado of the book but I will tell you that even if this is the second in a series it is a great stand alone book The play between the characters is charming and delightful to read I couldn t put it downnce I started and read it in ne dayYou wont be disappointed in this paranormal romance I cant wait to find the first in the series and then the next should prove to be just as good Originally published at The Rookie Romance BlogI love finding historical romances with paranormal aspects it s my favourite combination So naturally I was drawn to the blurb for this book faeries and a human Lord perfect Luckily it did turn ut to be a great combination in The Magic f I Do Claire Thorne is left in the human realm with her sister s brother in law Lord Phineas Tremble when her sister goes to the faerie realm with her new husband They have a rather passionate encounter to say the least before Claire returns to the faerie realm whilst Finn is sleepingClaire has some issues with her parents and is desperate to escape them for a while and she uses a portal in a painting to leave the faerie realmand stumbles straight into Finn s bed chamber Sparks instantly flare between them againWhen Finn s ex mistress comes to him for help Finn sets to work trying to catch a killer Claire is a mission faerie and is determined to help Finn catch him and this leads to plenty f mayhem and intrigueClaire was a really fun character she s stubborn and determined but she s also very loyal to those she loves She has issues with her parents after they were forced to forget about their magical fae children including her This colours her perspective n love marriage and having children with humans which in turn means it takes her a while before she can fully let herself love Finn and be with himFinn has all the neccessary ualities for a rake charming and handsome Not widely known is that he also does some detective work which added another layer to his character He s very sweet and protective with ClaireThe chemistry between Claire and Finn was sizzling and they had some steamy love scenes together The love between them builds up gradually and they have plenty f bstacles and issues to work through before they get their deserved HEAThe intrigue involving the killer definitely helped to keep the book s pace and hooked my interest as well I thought the faerie elements were woven through the book very well and it all seemed to blend with the historical setting perfectlyThis is the second book in the Faerie series the first being the story f Sophia Claire s sister and Robin Finn s brother but you re never lost and the back story was worked in throughout the bookOverall this is a fun and sweet romance with a hint f danger to keep the reader intrigued Definitely recommendedI received a review copy from the publisher via NetGalley for my honest review Thank you.
